The basic part of the Spanish hand-stitched garment according to the Toledo manuscript (late 16th century) is a diagonally striped jubón (á harpon). The garment also includes trousers, a ropilla, a linen shirt, stockings, underpants and ruffs. The hat and shoes were custom made.
The following pages show the back view and the ropilla.
